Message Regarding Indoor Dining, November 5th

 

Dear BYC Members,
 
The Premier of Ontario has announced that as of Saturday, November 7th we can return to indoor dining. Please note that with the ease on restrictions comes new guidelines and protocols for us to follow.
 
Regulations for Indoor Dining Include:
  • Maximum 4 people per table. No Exceptions
  • Tables must be a minimum of 6 feet apart
  • In addition to providing your name and contact information for contact tracing purposes, you will also be required to completed a self screening questionnaire upon entering the Club
  • Masks must be worn at all times while inside the club and can only be removed for the purpose of eating and drinking, no exceptions
  • All food and beverages are to be served ONLY to members who are seated
  • Members are not permitted to mingle amongst the tables. You must remain seated except when entering and leaving the Club or going to the washroom.
 
With the warmer weather expected for the next few days we will continue to serve under the marquee tent.
 
Regulations for Outdoor Dining Include:
  • Maximum 6 people per table, No Exceptions
  • Tables must be a minimum of 6 feet apart
  • You are required to provide your name and contact information for contact tracing purposes
  • Masks are not mandatory however they are strongly recommended in the outdoor setting by Ottawa Public Health
  • All food and beverages are to be served ONLY to members who are seated
  • Members are not permitted to mingle amongst the tables. You must remain seated except when entering and leaving the grounds or going to the washroom.
 
A reminder that if you are feeling unwell we ask that you stay at home and not come to the Club.
 
Thank you for your cooperation with the new guidelines. Staff and Management have been tasked by the Board of Directors with enforcing the regulations and failure to abide by them may result in being asked to leave the property.
 
New Kitchen and Bar Hours:
  • Friday, November 6th: 3:00pm - 7:00pm
  • Saturday & Sunday, November 7th & 8th: 12:00pm - 7:00pm
  • Please note that the Club will be open on Monday November 9th and Tuesday November 10th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm
  • We will begin our Winter Hours of Wednesdays and Fridays 4:00pm - 9:00pm and Sundays 12:00pm - 8:00pm as of Wednesday, November 11th
 
Weekend BBQ!
We will be offering a BBQ Dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to celebrate the unseasonably warm weather. The meal will be your choice of BBQ Hamburger or Sausage, served with Fries, your choice of Beer or Glass of Wine and a delicious BYC Cookie! Price is $20 per person. The BBQ will be offered in addition to the regular menu Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
 
To adhere to the current restrictions for dining, the BBQ will be served to you at your table. It will not be buffet style.
